With integrated training and coaching, you:
- Conserve the benefits of training and
- Maximize the speed at which those benefits return back to the organization.
- With coaching before, during and after training, maximum opportunity is afforded for new skills and knowledge to be transferred back into the workplace.
As a part of PRE-TRAINING COACHING, the client clarifies the objectives which will be served through participating in the training. And in fact they may use coaching to identify the training most appropriate to help them achieve the objectives. They then create a plan to reach those objectives starting before the training ever commences. This ensures the training and the coaching are unique to the executive’s context, personal objectives and organizational expectations.
If the training is ongoing over a longer period of time, we provide MID-TRAINING COACHING. This serves to provide a level of accountability for being on track with the learning objectives. It allows the executive to discuss and troubleshoot problem areas. And it engages the client to consistently relate the learning to the everyday leadership context of the sponsoring organization. They create a strategy and begin implementing new learning immediately.
POST-TRAINING COACHING provides the follow-up needed to ensure learning gets translated into concrete results for the individual and the organization. Routine coaching evaluates the executive’s follow-through on their learning objectives. It tracks progress, troubleshoots implementation and finds solutions which supports sustainable change. Coaching provides the best environment to stop post-training decay and better position the executive to take advantage of potential opportunity.
Through the use of integrated training and coaching, leadership skills and knowledge is transferred back to the organization at a faster rate with greater returns.
Targeted and personalized coaching maximizes the benefit to the individual. Return on investment is significantly improved. The organization retains a more satisfied leader and improves its overall capacity to achieve priorities and objectives.
